BPW develops hydraulic drive axle AGRO Drive for agricultural trailers

On soft, loose soils or when operating on banks or hillsides, agricultural vehicles often reach their limits. In order to facilitate vehicle start-ups on such surfaces and to prevent getting stuck, BPW has developed a hydraulic drive axle for agricultural trailers: the BPW AGRO Drive. The AGRO Drive axle is celebrating its world premiere at Agritechnica this November.

BPW trainees host political discussion – education system in need of reform

Is Germany’s dual work-study system a flagship or a rust bucket? This was the question posed by education and business experts in Engelskirchen on 14 September. The trainees of BPW Bergische Achsen KG in Wiehl hosted the evening with presentations and a series of short video interviews conducted among themselves.

Energy Awards acknowledge eTransport as a highly innovative idea in the quest to shift to renewables

eTransport, the electric axle drive developed by BPW, has grabbed first prize for mobility in the finals of the Energy Awards. The accolade recognises the drive as one of the most innovative ideas in the drive towards renewable energy sources. The Energy Awards serve the purpose of highlighting progress and changes being made in the sector, and acknowledging outstanding projects and ideas.

At Agritechnica, the world's leading trade fair for agricultural engineering, which takes place in Hanover from 12 until 18 November 2017, BPW will be exhibiting a diverse range of solutions in the field of running gears for agricultural vehicles and machinery under the motto "Go on when others stop". The hydraulic drive axle BPW AGRO Drive will be celebrating its world premiere at the fair.

It’s all about mobility – BPW Group at NUFAM fair

At this year’s commercial vehicle trade fair (NUFAM) in Karlsruhe (28.9. until 1.10.), the BPW booth (C 205 in Hall 2) is focusing on solutions for optimising mobility. The brands BPW, Hestal and idem telematics are showing products that enable vehicle operators to ensure trailer reliability while reducing costs, minimising downtimes and utilising the best processes and routes.

BPW is also an innovation leader in the industry when it comes to training: for around a year , BPW has been putting on workshop seminars in an industrial loft with space in which to park an entire trailer. Instead of slide presentations in conference rooms, the focus is on practical work and motivation. Among the latest to experience the impressive facility was a team from EWALS Cargo Care.
