BPW at Agritechnica 2017: Go on when others stop
- BPW in Hanover in hall 15, stand E05
- World premiere of the BPW hydraulic drive axle AGRO Drive
- AGRO Hub soon to be available with weighing system
Szombathely/Wiehl, 25 September 2017 --- At Agritechnica, the world's leading trade fair for agricultural engineering, which takes place in Hanover from 12 until 18 November 2017, BPW will be exhibiting a diverse range of solutions in the field of running gears for agricultural vehicles and machinery under the motto "Go on when others stop". The hydraulic drive axle BPW AGRO Drive will be celebrating its world premiere at the fair.
"The motto for Agritechnica reflects our underlying attitude at BPW. If a customer has a specific wish, we want to fulfil it. Instead of seeing the problem, we look for the solution. And we find it, too. Due to our diverse product developments, we can offer our customers solutions for the entire transport process – right up to networking. In order to make all this possible, we work with strategic partners who place the same high demands on themselves as we do," says Peter Lindner, Agricultural Sales Manager for Germany and Benelux.
One of these solutions is the hydraulic drive axle BPW AGRO Drive, which will be presented to the public for the first time in Hanover. All of BPW's running gear know-how has gone into this axle: its sophisticated design allows maintenance work and brake pad changes to be carried out without having to disassemble the hydraulic motor. In addition, the tried and tested BPW brake system is used.
Two years ago, BPW introduced its AGRO Hub in Hanover, which makes it possible for customers in the agricultural industry to have an exact overview of a running gear's mileage. Sensors calculate both its daily and its overall mileage. A new feature is the ability to transfer data to the machine's display unit via ISOBUS communication channels. That way, all running gear information is immediately visible in the driver's cabin at all times. The system has also been developed in another respect: "Via the AGRO Hub, we'll soon be offering our customers a weighing system that provides measurements accurate to within approximately +/- two percent. Nowadays, weight is already widely used as the basis for invoicing, which is why this is particularly useful," says Peter Lindner. Examples such as this are indicative of the intense developmental work that the BPW Group carries out in the field of connectivity.
For smaller loads, BPW has also developed the GS 9000 axle line. With an axle load of 9 tonnes, it is perfect for use in tippers, transport vehicles and soil cultivation machinery, offering maximum economic efficiency as well as the quality BPW is known for. This coming year, BPW is launching the corresponding steering axle, the GSLA 9000, which will be exhibited at Agritechnica as well. And with the newly developed N3411 brake, BPW is now also offering tyres of 17.5 inches and over for this axle line.
Agritechnica visitors can find out more about the new BPW products in hall 15, stand E05.
