BPW Bergische Achsen KG has further refined the modular air suspension Airlight II and significantly extended its range of applications. With immediate effect, jumbo and swap body trailers, which call for a large spring deflection range, can be equipped with the product.
On soft, loose soils or when operating on banks or hillsides, agricultural vehicles often reach their limits. In order to facilitate vehicle start-ups on such surfaces and to prevent getting stuck, BPW has developed a hydraulic drive axle for agricultural trailers: the BPW AGRO Drive. The AGRO Drive axle is celebrating its world premiere at Agritechnica this November.

eTransport, the electric axle drive developed by BPW, has grabbed first prize for mobility in the finals of the Energy Awards. The accolade recognises the drive as one of the most innovative ideas in the drive towards renewable energy sources. At Agritechnica, the world's leading trade fair for agricultural engineering, which takes place in Hanover from 12 until 18 November 2017, BPW will be exhibiting a diverse range of solutions in the field of running gears for agricultural vehicles and machinery under the motto "Go on when others stop". The hydraulic drive axle BPW AGRO Drive will be celebrating its world premiere at the fair.
At this year’s commercial vehicle trade fair (NUFAM) in Karlsruhe (28.9. until 1.10.), the BPW booth (C 205 in Hall 2) is focusing on solutions for optimising mobility. The brands BPW, Hestal and idem telematics are showing products that enable vehicle operators to ensure trailer reliability while reducing costs, minimising downtimes and utilising the best processes and routes.
BPW is also an innovation leader in the industry when it comes to training: for around a year , BPW has been putting on workshop seminars in an industrial loft with space in which to park an entire trailer. Instead of slide presentations in conference rooms, the focus is on practical work and motivation. Among the latest to experience the impressive facility was a team from EWALS Cargo Care.
BPW has already revolutionised operation, maintenance and servicing of trailer axles with its popular 9 t ECO Plus bearings. Their enclosed design prolongs service life and achieves maximum availability. Following their introduction in 2000, ECO Plus bearings quickly became a best-seller and redefined the benchmark for economy within the industry.
Competition in the commercial vehicle industry is tough, and there are no stricter judges than the professionals who work with its manufacturers, products and solutions every day. It was by no means to be taken for granted that these industry experts would recognise BPW as the best brand for the 11th time in succession.
The news magazine FOCUS has again determined the best employers in Germany. A grand total of more than 100,000 employer assessments were received in response to a survey by Hamburg statistics company Statista, a survey of Xing members and based on kununu employer assessments.
