The business magazine Focus Money and its research institute Deutschland Test have now recognised BPW as one of the leading Digital Champions: The Hamburg Institute of International Economics assessed around 10,000 companies for the ranking exercise.

For many years BPW Bergische Achsen KG has ranked among Germany’s top employers, as recently reconfirmed by the magazine Focus Business. It has now been recognised as the fairest employer in its industry. The accolade is the outcome of a new ranking produced by Faktenkontor with academic support on behalf of Focus Money and Deutschland Test.

The electrification of municipal and commercial utility vehicles is now gathering pace following today’s announcement by the Paul Group, a European leader in special-purpose vehicle construction, of a standard conversion package for the Mercedes-Benz Vario in collaboration with BPW Bergische Achsen KG. The company revealed its plans at a preview for local authorities in Vilshofen in Bavaria.

The certification serves as a milestone not only for the company, but also in the run-up to the launch of the electric axle drive eTransport.

Breakthrough for digital goods monitoring – BPW Innovation Lab makes cargo tracking affordable

Situated in Siegburg, the think tank of BPW Group has unveiled an all-new digital goods tracking solution capable of significantly improving supply chain transparency. Costing around one-third of existing systems, it runs autonomously for up to two years without requiring a battery change. The solution is currently undergoing testing and scheduled to enter the market in 2018.

BPW accomplishes wholesale switch to green electricity and publishes sustainability report

BPW Bergische Achsen KG of Wiehl in the west of Germany is not only an innovation leader in the transport and logistics sector, but also ranks among the pioneers as regards sustainability. The company switched to procuring all of its electricity from renewables in the summer and has now published its first sustainability report in compliance with the UN Global Compact.
