With their new running gear generation iC Plus, BPW has brought intelligent algorithms to trailer running gears for the first time. At IAA, BPW is now presenting a retrofit solution including utilisation recognition, predictive maintenance and optimised fleet efficiency - and with a minimal investment and installation effort.
With aerodynamic fine-tuning, the product developers at HESTAL have been able to significantly reduce the aerodynamic drag of trailers – without significant additional costs for vehicle manufacturers and haulage companies. The HESTAL FlowMaster is even retrofittable and achieves savings. At IAA TRANSPORTATION, HESTAL is tempting visitors with a special trade fair promotion.
Electric refrigeration machines, powered by the recovery of driving and braking energy, are intended to make temperature-controlled transport more climate-friendly. But does it pay off? BPW put it to the test with leading refrigerated logistics companies: The results after more than 350,000 test kilometres convince even sceptics of the cost-effectiveness of the ePower generator axle.
The BPW Group will be presenting intelligent solutions for greater efficiency and control in the transport business at IAA 2024 in Hannover.
